Pitt Meadows Marsh Hike
PITT MEADOWS MARSH HIKE
Pitt Meadows British Columbia, Canada

Well we have awaited this day for some time now. It is finally here and we are all wager to get started. This hike is supposed to be a six hour hike and we plan to, at least, do some work on our, "Naturalist Challenge Award". When we met at the School to depart, it was still raining. But all five boys and our three leaders were hoping that the rain would stop soon. We took the short drive from Surrey to Pitt Meadows and the vehicles were parked and we all disembarked. But it was still raining. We gathered our belongings, including rain gear and all bundled up with our day packs and our rain protection. The leaders, made sure we were all bundled and protected from the rain and high wind. Whe they were satisfied that each boy was safe and dry, we proceeded down the trail.
As part of out "Naturalist award, we were to identify a certain number of Trees, Shrubbs, Mammals, Birds, Reptiles, amphibians, fish, and plants.
